INTERIOR PROJECTS
This new home was designed by Trevor Reitsma & Associates and built by Squires Constructions. The block was just 400q m and the client wanted to fit three-bedrooms, two living areas, a study, and outdoor entertaining and a pool on the block.
The house was about 300 sq m in size and featured custom designed joinery in the timber island bench and dining table made from recycled timber. Essa Stone was used in the kitchen, as was Smeg appliances. The client wanted a concrete looking floor without going to the expense of doing polished concrete. Hidden behind the kitchen is a butler's pantry that housed all appliances and pantry items leaving the kitchen clutter-free.
A monochrome pallete was used to ensure the recycled timber elements stood out and a pop of yellow was incorporated into the mix, including a yellow front door.
These two Bali villas were designed and built over in Bali, however I teamed up with a friend to create the beautiful interiors ensuring a welcoming ambience when holiday makers arrived.
The furniture was all custom made, as were the furnishings. Fabric for the cushions was sourced online from the USA, however they were handmade in Bali.
Paintings were also commissioned from a local abstract artist.
